Last week, we embarked on a community engagement exercise across Anansu, Kwabena Akwa, Wurubegu and Pasoro as part of our commitment to bringing governance closer to the people. The engagements provided a valuable opportunity to interact directly with residents, listen to their concerns, understand their priorities and gather their views on issues affecting the development and wellbeing of their respective communities. We believe that meaningful development must be people-centred and participatory. The voices of our communities must therefore remain central to our planning, decision-making and development interventions. During the engagements, we assured the people of our unflinching commitment and support towards advancing their development aspirations. We will continue to work closely with community leaders, traditional authorities, Assembly Members and residents to identify practical solutions to the challenges confronting our communities. I sincerely appreciate the chiefs, elders, community leaders, Assembly Members and residents of Anansu, Kwabena Akwa, Wurubegu and Pasoro for their warm reception and candid contributions.
