The Planning and Development Unit ensures that every development activity in the district aligns with both local priorities and national objectives. It prepares the Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP), monitors ongoing projects, and evaluates outcomes for improvement.
Through data collection, stakeholder consultations, and community engagement, the unit ensures equitable distribution of resources. Its evidence-based approach helps the Assembly to plan proactively, attract funding, and implement projects that yield measurable social and economic impact.
