  This initiative aims to stimulate economic activity, expand commercial infrastructure and also reduce unemployment in the region. Speaking in an interview with ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, Ibrahim Issahak indicated that this core mandate is highly going to benefit the people within the district. He further indicated that the assembly has secured about 4 acres of land from Nananom and they are waiting for the approval of the market so they can quickly begin the project. The modern market, he indicated, will feature a police post, fire station, sanitary facilities and lockable shops to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Issahak Ibrahim noted that this initiative is expected to create jobs and boost economic activity, particularly in Nyinahin.
