Saturday 23-08-25 marked a historic and fruitful engagement. The District Chief Executive Hon. Issahak Ibrahim together with some of his party executives met the Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Hon. Seth Osei Akoto and some NPP Constituency Executives at the office of the N.P.P. in Nyinahin.
In a rare show of cross-party collaboration, Hon. Ibrahim Isshak reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to an ‘Open Door Policy’ — a leadership style rooted in inclusion, partnership, and people-first governance.
Hon. Issahak assured Hon. Osei Akoto of his full support to promptly approve his MPs Common Fund, provided it fuels impactful, community-driven projects that uplift our people.
Together, the two political colosus in Mponua boldly declared their shared mission; thus working in synergy to elevate Atwima Mponua to Municipal status.
The duo also discussed the urgent need to attract serious investors into the district. “With the right support and a united front, Atwima Mponua can become a beacon of growth, opportunity, and development in Ghana”, Hon. Issahak added.
This kind of unity between a DCE and MP from different political backgrounds is unheard of in the political landscape of Mponua — and it’s exactly what leadership should look like. The future of Atwima Mponua is bright — and it’s ours to shape, together.
